make-your-own jeopardy
The following pages will help you create your own Jeopardy game. Please
read the directions below carefully. You may want to print them before
moving on.
- You will need to type all questions and answers in one session. You may
want to have a draft in a word processor from which you can
copy-and-paste.
- If you would like fewer than five categories, just leave some category
names blank.
- IMPORTANT: After submitting
your questions
- Immediately save the resulting page by choosing "Save
As..." from the "File" menu.
- Save the file to the Desktop for easy access initially.
- Go to your desktop and right-click on the new file.
- Choose "Open With..." then "WordPad."
- You must delete the line
from the HTML code (near the top) that says:
<base target="_self" href="http://teachers.sduhsd.k12.ca.us/abrown/Activities/Jeopardy/JeopardyFinal.htm">
- Choose "Save" from the "File" menu and close the
document.
- You may now save your file to a disk or another directory on your hard
drive. Jeopardy will run in your web browser without using a connection to
the Internet.
- Please let me know how Make-Your-Own Jeopardy works for you? What
do your students think? abby@abbymath.com
- Before starting, you may want to print these directions for reference.
If I had better programming skills I could fix these problems.
