VolOptVersion2: It cut out on me.
abbymath92: the review problems are listed on the bottom of the hw assignment sheet
WhiteAsWnderbred: oh yea
WhiteAsWnderbred: jk
VolOptVersion2: I have a question that everyone might want to know... for what we have to memorize, it's just all that was on that Integrals WS, the Half-angle formulas, partial fractions and area under a curve with the new formulas, right?
happygummiebears: i'm like trying to write my college essay at the same time right now
happygummiebears: ahhh so many words
laffer89 has entered the room.
HOLA BONA: so yeh ray has a good question
HOLA BONA
: i mean... voloptvers
WhiteAsWnderbred
: area under curve you just put 2Pi before
MrPadre190: and f(x)
WhiteAsWnderbred: with R^2 - r^2
laurencampbelll has entered the room.
VolOptVersion2: Well, it depends, you need the boundaries, plus whatever equation is the radius...
WhiteAsWnderbred: what ever
laffer89: um
WhiteAsWnderbred has left the room.
abbymath92: Whoa.... 2 Pi (R^2 - r^2) is not for the area under a curve
WhiteAsWnderbred has entered the room.
WhiteAsWnderbred: laurenn
VolOptVersion2: Yeah, that's way wrong.
WhiteAsWnderbred: ignore that
WhiteAsWnderbred: what i said
MUSKET WARRIOR: thats for volume
Hirschsohnator has entered the room.
VolOptVersion2: 2Pi Integral[f(x)Sqrt[1+f'(x)^2]dx]
WhiteAsWnderbred: yea i know just ignore what i said
nithin akkala: lauren campbell?
abbymath92: so, what is that formula for? It's not the area under a curve
MUSKET WARRIOR: surface area
laffer89: i am fat and ugly
WhiteAsWnderbred: um...
MUSKET WARRIOR: thats random
HOLA BONA: if it is laurenn she dropped out of the coolest psychology class
xanthophile
has entered the room.
VolOptVersion2: Right, right, sorry. Surface area about a rotation.

WhiteAsWnderbred: lauren
HOLA BONA: lol yeah
laurencampbelll
: oh my bad
MUSKET WARRIOR has left the room.
Hirschsohnator: Surface area is on the test?
VolOptVersion2: Area under curve is just an integral... I meant the new SA formulas.
WhiteAsWnderbred: did you just make that sn?

imkooolikethat has entered the room.
peterkuriyama has entered the room.
abbymath92: it's nice to identify yourself, but this will only work if we stay somewhat focused.
VolOptVersion2: Yeah... noticeably.
WhiteAsWnderbred: okay, so where did lauren and hansen get that sheet with the summary of each chapter and the steps to figure out which method to use
abbymath92: Ray: What's you're current question?
Hirschsohnator: Ok so when you do complete the square things, you just subtract the thing you added from the "outside" right?
abbymath92: White: It's the last page of the notes packet
peterkuriyama has left the room.
lovingthesun128 has entered the room.
nithin akkala: kelly
peterkuriyama has entered the room.
nithin akkala: peter
VolOptVersion2 has left the room.
WhiteAsWnderbred: thank you
abbymath92: Hirsch: you can only add "zero" so just make sure that you balance whatever you add (or subtract) to make it be a square trinomial
ajokeisalluneed: when do you use completeing the square?
LuckEyou132 has entered the room.
VolOptVersion2 has entered the room.
VolOptVersion2: Gah... it cut out again.
swim4truffles: What happens when you're completing the square and theres a coefficient in front of the x^2?
MUSKET WARRIOR
: if you have a binomial that does not simplify
happygummiebears: factor out the coefficient?
ajokeisalluneed: yeah but
VolOptVersion2: My main question, Ms. Brown, is just making sure the only trigonemetric stuff to know is what was on the Integrals Review WS and the Half Angle formulas.
parahx has left the room.
Hirschsohnator: Ok, but what if the square root is in the denominator of the fraction?
Hirschsohnator: Is it the same thing?
ajokeisalluneed: arent there specific methods
ajokeisalluneed: that require completing the square?
VolOptVersion2: Square root in the denominator with a quadratic = trigonemetric substitution.
peterkuriyama has left the room.
abbymath92: usually we see completing the square w/ trig subst. since that's when you want Sqrt[u^2 - a^2] or something like that
sportsfreak0257 has entered the room.
WhiteAsWnderbred: is the whiteboard set up?
Hirschsohnator: Oh
peterkuriyama has entered the room.
nithin akkala: bryan
VolOptVersion2: Like say you have Sqrt[9x^2 + 6x -8] in the denominator.
nithin akkala: peter again
abbymath92: but if you have something like (x^2 + 4x + 7) it's not square...so you can complete it to make it in the form you want
HOLA BONA: bryan lau?
laffer89
has left the room.
Hirschsohnator: Can you do that?
laffer89 has entered the room.
nithin akkala: ya
VolOptVersion2: Find a way to get it to be Sqrt[(3x + a)^2]
sportsfreak0257: yeah what?
HOLA BONA: hey
sportsfreak0257
: hi
nithin akkala: hi
lovingthesun128: hi nithin
Hirschsohnator: Is there surface area on the test?
nithin akkala: hi kelly
nithin akkala: how are you?
HOLA BONA: lol
lovingthesun128
: i need help
mckalgirl has left the room.
MUSKET WARRIOR has left the room.
VolOptVersion2: Ms. brown, to do a good completing the square on the whiteboard that's nice and complicated but will give all sorts of little hints, do number 25 on page 488.
abbymath92: if there is a coefficient in front of the x, I usually find it easier to factor that number out so it's just x^2 and then adjust the thing that has to also get added so that I'm really only adding zero
laffer89: http://www.abbymath.com
laffer89: good for stuff
laffer89: math stuff
xXmisterdudeXx has entered the room.

VolOptVersion2: I can give you a hand if you need it... but don't rely on me for the correct answer, just how to get there.
tingyblingy: i dont know why i am here
VolOptVersion2: Just send me a private IM.
ilkesteakncrntrs: I would like to see # 25 on page 488 as well
tingyblingy: hi ms brown

abbymath92: I'll set up on the whiteboard
lovingthesun128: can someone help me with number 9 on page 482

ilkesteakncrntrs: haha
xXmisterdudeXx has entered the room.
VolOptVersion2: Number 9 on 482, you need to do the half-angle formula, substitute cos^4(x) with (1/2(cos2x))^2
xXmisterdudeXx: i love you all
karmapolice343: dude. f*** off
abbymath92: something is screwy w/ it . . . gimme a sec

WhiteAsWnderbred: wait so why is Ray leading the lesson
tingyblingy: :-)
laurencampbelll: hahaha

abbymath92: because I'm drowing in windows popping up
MUSKET WARRIOR: he just is
lovingthesun128: mrs. brown can you show me number 9 on page 482 on the whiteboard
VolOptVersion2: Because I'm a Nazi when it comes to order and getting something done? [Sorry if I offended anyone]
karmapolice343: question: where can i get the whiteboard? i cant find it
VolOptVersion2: http://teachers.sduhsd.k12.ca.us/abrown/ind ex2.html

WhiteAsWnderbred: yea so.... ray scares me.
HOLA BONA: lol
MUSKET WARRIOR
: hes so controlling
HOLA BONA: i second that
VolOptVersion2
: Replace the cos^4(x) with the half angle formula, doing (1/2(1+cos2x))^2
WhiteAsWnderbred: yay its working!
WhiteAsWnderbred: the whiteboard
VolOptVersion2: Then square the formula.
nithin akkala: who are you voloptversion2?????

nithin akkala: michael?
MUSKET WARRIOR: ray michel
nithin akkala: ohhh
nithin akkala: hey ray
lovingthesun128: where the cos2t turns into cos4t

xXmisterdudeXx has left the room.
MUSKET WARRIOR: yay hes gone
Hirschsohnator: That guy sucked
HOLA BONA: this whiteboard thing is SO COOL

lovingthesun128: oh ok
abbymath92: did those of you who wanted p.488 #25 get what you needed?
lovingthesun128: thanks
VolOptVersion2: So you have Integral[(1/4)(1+2cos2x+(1/2)(1+cos 4x))]dx
Hirschsohnator: OH, so it get's added inside the root....
VolOptVersion2: Yeah.
ilkesteakncrntrs: thanks ms brown
nithin akkala: amrit says that if the white board does not work, the test should be cancelled

abbymath92: it's a u-sub: u = arctan y
WhiteAsWnderbred: is it a number in the book
abbymath92: and the demoninator will go away as part of the du
BluebirdRock: yes, #3 on 504
BluebirdRock: realy?
BluebirdRock: *really?
karmapolice343: yueah
WhiteAsWnderbred: yes
BluebirdRock: nice
ajokeisalluneed: why do u have to do Ax + B
karmapolice343: so its just e^u du
lovingthesun128 has left the room.
BluebirdRock: okay
karmapolice343: because its x^2 + 1
s4bo: Ax + B because its quadtratic
karmapolice343
: and if you have an x^2 and a constant
LuckEyou132 has entered the room.
BluebirdRock: what about #29 on page 504?
WhiteAsWnderbred: it says use example 5
WhiteAsWnderbred: in chapter 7.5
MUSKET WARRIOR: multiply top and bottom by (1+x)
abbymath92: are we done w/ p.534 #11?
ajokeisalluneed: so whenever its quad, u have to do Ax + B?
MrPadre190: its arccot right?
WhiteAsWnderbred: no sqrt(1+x)
nithin akkala: on page 532 how do u do 13, 47, 48
sarcasticmintz: Does anyone know what should be done to solve #45 on p 504
Looocey has entered the room.
MUSKET WARRIOR: you separate it into 2 integrals
karmapolice343: for 45
abbymath92: I'm happy to help, but it's best for me to do only one at a time on the whiteboard
WhiteAsWnderbred: lucy
nithin akkala: arpana, separate into 2 integrals
nithin akkala: omg
peterkuriyama: p. 534 #43
nithin akkala: u beat me
abbymath92: I can start a list
nithin akkala: ha
sarcasticmintz: oh! thanks

mckalgirl: can we do #29 on p.498?
BluebirdRock: oh, sry

Looocey: LOL yeah finally
HOLA BONA: im kinda scared for tomorrow

s4bo: dont be afraid, its only 80% of ur grade
WhiteAsWnderbred
: im good
Hirschsohnator: will there (possibly) be any surface area of revolution on the test?
iKrAsH 9 1 1: lol
ajokeisalluneed: of course
HOLA BONA: thanks?
laffer89

peterkuriyama: yes
Hirschsohnator: haha
WhiteAsWnderbred has left the room.
abbymath92: on p. 534 #43... let u = Sqrt[x] + 2
abbymath92: then x = (u - 2)^2
peterkuriyama: ok thanks
abbymath92: and dx = 2(u-2) du
abbymath92: I think that will do it
ajokeisalluneed: how many tests do we have?
HOLA BONA: 5?
nithin akkala
: 4
swim4truffles: 4
HOLA BONA
: fine
HOLA BONA
: 4
ajokeisalluneed
: so lets say i get 50
Raji89 has entered the room.
HOLA BONA: u fail
ajokeisalluneed
: yeah
MUSKET WARRIOR: yeah
ajokeisalluneed: even if i get 100 in everything else
Hirschsohnator: How about #43 and 45 on pg. 498?
happygummiebears: thats encouraging
abbymath92: 5 1/2 tests if you count the final as a test and a half, which is what I usually do in Calc C
ajokeisalluneed: oh
swim4truffles: yikes
happygummiebears
: lol yeah
Looocey: yeah
abbymath92: p. 498 #43...try u = x + 1
Looocey: 43 & 45 on p.498
ajokeisalluneed: theres bonus right?
MUSKET WARRIOR has left the room.
abbymath92: or maybe u = Sqrt[x +1]...then x = u^2 -1
happygummiebears: i think so
Hirschsohnator: Thanks
MUSKET WARRIOR has entered the room.
nithin akkala: i doubt it...
abbymath92: for p. 534 #45 . . . try u = Sqrt[x] so then x = u^2
s4bo has left the room.
MUSKET WARRIOR: there is bonus
abbymath92: I"m not sure...I'd need to try it directly
imkooolikethat: ms. brown how do you know when you do u-sub the make in terms of x=?
HOLA BONA: ms brown.... these conversations will be saved correct?
parahx
has entered the room.
abbymath92: roots are a good signal for that
imkooolikethat: ok thanks
abbymath92: especially when the stuff inside the root is linear
LuckEyou132 has left the room.
abbymath92: when you have quadratics inside the root, that's a signal for trig subst
abbymath92: yes...I will post the part of the chat I am here for on the web site
abbymath92: but the whiteboard stuff is not saved
imkooolikethat: ooh ok
HOLA BONA: yeh okay
HOLA BONA
: cool
xzilious
: is there a particular name for that kind of u-sub?
xzilious: I don't remember really learning it before
WhiteAsWnderbred has entered the room.
xzilious: (except in your class)
HOLA BONA: what number is this?
BluebirdRock
: me neither
Raji89: is completing the square and factoring for trig subs gonna be pretty straight forward
WhiteAsWnderbred: arc length is on the test right.
BluebirdRock: der
WhiteAsWnderbred: okay thanks.
WhiteAsWnderbred has left the room.
abbymath92: try section 5.5 for u-sub review
HOLA BONA: cool
mckalgirl
has left the room.
dingostarr10 has left the room.
laffer89: my fish just died i have to flush it down the toilet
laffer89: brb
HOLA BONA: k
abbymath92
: who is laffer89?
ajokeisalluneed: lol
MUSKET WARRIOR: i was wondering the same thing
mckalgirl has entered the room.
xanthophile: ms. brown, it's alex warburton, could you possibly do pg. 509 number 29, an integral table problem?
abbymath92: I'll see what I can do . . .
xanthophile: i still don't really get how the u's cancel
MUSKET WARRIOR has left the room.
happygummiebears: whoah that white board thing is really cool lol
MUSKET WARRIOR has entered the room.
MUSKET WARRIOR: you change x^10 to (x^5)^2
abbymath92: for p. 510 #29...you need to do a u-sub first
abbymath92: let u = x^5
swim4truffles: dont u make u = x ^5
swim4truffles
: oo
Looocey
: lol
abbymath92: then the x^4 disappears into the du
Looocey: yes adele
abbymath92: why not?
laffer89 has left the room.
abbymath92: it then becomes arcsin
HOLA BONA: oh fun
abbymath92
: with "a" = Sqrt[2]
ilkesteakncrntrs: but then i couldnt figure out which equation to use
abbymath92: and there will be a constant in front (1/5 I think)
xanthophile: oh okay
xanthophile: thanks a lot
xanthophile: jeeze
s4bo has entered the room.
xanthophile: I dont' know what it is about the tables
abbymath92: 1/5 arcsin (x^5/Sqrt[2])
ilkesteakncrntrs: yeah...would it take forever to solve it out without a formula?
abbymath92: I didn't even use the tables for that one
swim4truffles: the answer in the back is (1/5) Ln something
abbymath92
: oh...
abbymath92: hmmm...
abbymath92: gimme a sec
s4bo: PADRES WIN 6-5
swim4truffles
: i think it's because
xanthophile
: yeah it's ln
swim4truffles: you make dx=(1/5)x^(-4/5)
flamingosfly601
has entered the room.
ajokeisalluneed: is ti over?
sportsfreak0257: who is s4bo?
ajokeisalluneed: im watching on mlb.com
ajokeisalluneed: and its not over
s4bo: michael, per2
HOLA BONA
: alex... is nathan your brother?
VolOptVersion2
: Alright... I've got to leave... sorry. Thanks for the help Ms. Brown.
ajokeisalluneed: YES
ajokeisalluneed: AHAHAH
swim4truffles: then since x=u^(1/5)
ajokeisalluneed
: padreswin!
VolOptVersion2 has left the room.
swim4truffles: u make x^4 = u^4/5
s4bo
: that was abad last pitch too, and they still win
abbymath92
: woops!
abbymath92: that's -1 for me
BluebirdRock: back to calculus?
abbymath92: arcsin has Sqrt[a^2 - u^2]
abbymath92: I reversed it
Hirschsohnator: OH SNAP
abbymath92: if you were to do it by hand, it would need trig subst.
abbymath92: or using the formulas . . .
xanthophile: oh okay
xanthophile: haha i don't know what it is about the table......
parahx: did you just say snap
abbymath92: use #43
swim4truffles: hi hanson
swim4truffles
: Jk!
xanthophile
: maybe it's the touchpoints! just kidding
parahx: hansEn
swim4truffles: i know
swim4truffles
: :-D
MUSKET WARRIOR: yay for formulas
dingostarr10 has entered the room.
sportsfreak0257: who is ajokeisalluneed?
ilkesteakncrntrs: thanks
parahx has left the room.
parahx has entered the room.
parahx has left the room.
ajokeisalluneed: JK
BluebirdRock: #33 on the very first homework?
ajokeisalluneed: im john
s4bo has left the room.
imkooolikethat: does anyone know how to do 27 on p. 535
parahx has entered the room.
HOLA BONA: hey alex warb.... is nathan your brother?
MrPadre190

BluebirdRock: no do mine!
sportsfreak0257: yeah graeme
ajokeisalluneed: yeah
ajokeisalluneed: we discussed it
laffer89 has entered the room.
ajokeisalluneed: kinda
dingostarr10: i thought math was goin down in this chat room
MUSKET WARRIOR has left the room.
BluebirdRock: it should be!!!
MrPadre190: brian giles had 3 rbis thats math
laffer89: hello world
imkooolikethat: haha u loser haha jk
abbymath92: p. 535 #27 ....?
Princ3ss Arwen has entered the room.
iKrAsH 9 1 1 has left the room.
MUSKET WARRIOR has entered the room.
imkooolikethat: yes
abbymath92: try u = e^(2r)
abbymath92: that's where I'd start
BluebirdRock: or #33 on the first homework
laffer89: me too
imkooolikethat: ok ill try and see what i get
abbymath92: then I think you'll need partial fractions
imkooolikethat: oh ok
imkooolikethat: thanks
laffer89: np
abbymath92: bluebird: Still there?
BluebirdRock: yeds
BluebirdRock: yes
MUSKET WARRIOR: bluebirdrock i did yours
BluebirdRock: oh
MUSKET WARRIOR: im scanning it and ill send it to you
abbymath92: can you tell me what #33 is...I don't have the homework sheet in front of me
sansxsouci has entered the room.
abbymath92: oh...sound like you're taken care of
abbymath92: I'm going to erase the board
sansxsouci: hey this is rachel ross
BluebirdRock: okay
sansxsouci: is it ok if i ask a question?
BluebirdRock: yep
BluebirdRock: thanks musket
happygummiebears has left the room.
abbymath92: yeah...go ahead and ask
MUSKET WARRIOR: sorry its so big bluebird
BluebirdRock: tis cool, i love you for doing this for me
sansxsouci: #39 on pg. 535
MUSKET WARRIOR: no prob
abbymath92: oh...just change Sin[2x] to 2 Sin[x] Cos[x]
abbymath92: then the Cos[x] goes with the others and it's just a u-sub
xzilious: uhh the whiteboard still says "nice clean board for monday's chat," what am I doing wrong?
swim4truffles: manual
abbymath92
: hit F5
swim4truffles: is it blank right now?
abbymath92
: well, click on the window first then F5
abbymath92: yes
xzilious: gracias
Princ3ss Arwen: question?
abbymath92: yes?
Princ3ss Arwen: page 498 #17
sansxsouci: and the limits stay the same?
sansxsouci: because both endpts work
sansxsouci: i plugged it in and got 1/3
sansxsouci: the wrong answer
mckalgirl: Arwen - it's improper so divide
taytay17834 has entered the room.
Princ3ss Arwen: you're kidding me.
ahcool587: you have to do long division for 498 # 17
Princ3ss Arwen: -_-
Princ3ss Arwen: okay thanks.
MrPadre190 has left the room.
MUSKET WARRIOR has left the room.
Looocey: when are you leaving ms.brown?
abbymath92: about 10 minutes
MUSKET WARRIOR has entered the room.
flamingosfly601: can i ask a question
ajokeisalluneed: ms brown
xanthophile: how do you know when to multiply by a type of "1"
ajokeisalluneed: can u tell me a problem
ajokeisalluneed: that would be
flamingosfly601: pg 504 #15
ajokeisalluneed: the equivalent of a problem on the test
sansxsouci: ok so 39 pg. 535, after taking the integral, you just plug in pi/2 and 0 correct?
imkooolikethat: how do u do #23 p. 534
happygummiebears has entered the room.
karmapolice343: mrs brown, i love your whitebaord too
HOLA BONA: lol
HOLA BONA
: tambien
abbymath92
: ajoke: you're joking, right?
Looocey: LOL
karmapolice343: well its really helpful
Princ3ss Arwen: lol
ajokeisalluneed: a joke by ms brown
Looocey: ?
ahcool587: 504 # 15 you have to use u-sub
MrPadre190 has entered the room.
HOLA BONA: haha
laffer89
: LOLOLOL
HOLA BONA: he wasnt joking
abbymath92
: p. 534 #23 . . . u-sub...let u = ln x
ajokeisalluneed: yeah
MUSKET WARRIOR: nope
ajokeisalluneed: i wa just wondering...
ajokeisalluneed: i just got rebuffed
happygummiebears: wow 31 people
ajokeisalluneed: (sat word)
abbymath92: sansxsouci: did you get your question answered?
imkooolikethat: thanks
nithin akkala: ew sat
nithin akkala: i dont like sat
Raji89: im buff
nithin akkala: hah
peterkuriyama: wow raj
ajokeisalluneed: of course u dont like sat
kissthesky11 has entered the room.
sansxsouci: no ok can you do the problem
sansxsouci: because i keep getting the wrong ans
ajokeisalluneed: cuz uve seen chris hamilton
Raji89: what rebuff is a funny word
laffer89: i have an itch on my buttocks but everytime i go to scratch it it goes away
nithin akkala: ew
nithin akkala: dont say his name
Looocey: UH
karmapolice343: sounds...fun
dingostarr10: wow
ajokeisalluneed: yeah
Looocey: math..please?
ajokeisalluneed: he was like
ajokeisalluneed: taking off his shirt
karmapolice343: save it
Looocey: UM
Looocey: stop.
nithin akkala: its a guy
karmapolice343: thank you
laffer89: no keep going
nithin akkala: dont worry. hes not bad looking
abbymath92: focus please...
Looocey: haha yeah
abbymath92: i'm only here for a few more minutes
swim4truffles: wow
happygummiebears
: lol
nithin akkala: ok john tell me after
ajokeisalluneed: ok
karmapolice343: could we do an infinite integrals problem?
swim4truffles: how do you do 39 on the review (p.534)
sansxsouci
: ok so 39 pg. 535... if you take the integral and get -1/3 (cosx)^3
Looocey: it was asked earlier...
Looocey: scroll up
abbymath92: p. 535 #39...
mckalgirl has left the room.
karmapolice343: sweet
sansxsouci: and evaluate it from 0 to pi/2
ahcool587: for the larson hand out (7.7) how do you do #13 and 29?
sansxsouci: you should get the answer
sansxsouci: but i don't...
abbymath92: you need to change Sin[2x] to 2 Cos[x] Sin[x]
peterkuriyama has left the room.
mckalgirl has entered the room.
swim4truffles: so u is cosx and du = - sinx
HOLA BONA
: how many problems are there?
abbymath92
: mkalgirl: why can't I IM you?
Looocey: 10
xanthophile: 10
Looocey: shush alex
laurencampbelll has left the room.
HOLA BONA: ok
dingostarr10
: how many points
sansxsouci: i did change it
Looocey: 50
Looocey: pt
Looocey: s
iKrAsH 9 1 1 has entered the room.
Princ3ss Arwen: death!
abbymath92: hang on...I need to download the handout...I don't have it in front of me
sansxsouci: the final answer i got was -1/3(cosx)^3
sansxsouci: if you can't get it it's ok
ahcool587: alright thanks
dingostarr10: so, that would mean 5 pts per question? amazing...
Princ3ss Arwen: X_X
sansxsouci: but if both endpts work on a problem, it's not an improper integral is it?
littlevachka has entered the room.
Hirschsohnator: PARTIAL CREDIT!
MUSKET WARRIOR has left the room.
imkooolikethat: ms brown how many problems are there gonna be where we can use any method
sansxsouci: and you just take the integral and plug in the limits>
abbymath92: as long as there are no discontinuties within the interval of integration either
MUSKET WARRIOR has entered the room.
laurencampbelll has entered the room.
BluebirdRock: #33 on page 504?
abbymath92: 7.7 handout #13
laurencampbelll: how many problems are on the test
MUSKET WARRIOR: 10 probs
imkooolikethat: 10 lauren geez
kevin typed: thats it?
imkooolikethat: haha
ajokeisalluneed: yeah
mckalgirl has left the room.
laurencampbelll: oh i'm so dumb
ajokeisalluneed: so
Raji89: only 10
abbymath92: for #13 in the L'Hopital's assignment...it's really three problems in one
ajokeisalluneed: if u misss a problem
abbymath92: do n = 1
Raji89: ?
ajokeisalluneed: u get 90
abbymath92: then n = 2
Raji89: wow
imkooolikethat: well she said some will have a,b,c sorta thing
ajokeisalluneed: just like that
abbymath92: then n=3
abbymath92: you'll get the idea
Hirschsohnator: How do you do the ones where you split them into two limits cause there's a discontinuity in the middle of the interval?
MrPadre190 has left the room.
iKrAsH 9 1 1: is it possible that we dont have to use l'hospital's rule on problem 31+33
iKrAsH 9 1 1: cuz it doesnt seem possible
ajokeisalluneed: oh yeah
ajokeisalluneed: um
ajokeisalluneed: how do u do
kissthesky11: how do you do 51 in 7.5, pg. 505?
ahcool587: okay thanks ms. brown what about #29 on the same page?
ajokeisalluneed: number 63
abbymath92: for 7.7 L'Hopital's #29.... write it as Sin[1/x]/x
ajokeisalluneed: pg 04
ajokeisalluneed: pg 504
abbymath92: oops!
abbymath92: I mean . . Sin[1/x] / (1/x)
abbymath92: then use L'H
ajokeisalluneed: #63 pg. 504
ajokeisalluneed: yeah
ahcool587: great! thanks
laffer89: I LOVE MATHEMATICA AS MUCH AS I LOVE CALCULUS
abbymath92: okay...last two for me...p. 504 #51 and #63
xXmisterdudeXx has entered the room.
HOLA BONA: o man
abbymath92

abbymath92: set up the triangle with the root
nithin akkala: me to
nithin akkala: o

sansxsouci has left the room.
Princ3ss Arwen: aaaaaaaaaaaaaand this is when you freak out.
Princ3ss Arwen: or rather, when i
iKrAsH 9 1 1: yep
iKrAsH 9 1 1: i agree
nithin akkala: who are youuuuu arwen
abbymath92: for p. 504 #63
iKrAsH 9 1 1: hahaha
Princ3ss Arwen: i'm connieeeeee
swim4truffles: uh ohhhhh
dingostarr10: who's nithin akkala??
Looocey: that's his name..
Looocey: LOL
iKrAsH 9 1 1: so how about we have a failure party at my house
abbymath92: "save" one of the Cot[2x]
abbymath92: let u = Csc[2x]
abbymath92: convert the other two Csc[2x] to Cot 's
abbymath92: then the u-sub should become just a power rule
abbymath92: and you'll have to adjust for the constants
nithin akkala: lets go to glenns house
iKrAsH 9 1 1: ms brown..do u allow crying in your room?
flamingosfly601: PAGE 504 # 33
BluebirdRock: ha ha ha
dingostarr10: are there gonna be alot of csc,cot etc type problems?
BluebirdRock: pg 504 is by parts
Looocey: hahha
abbymath92: #33 need parts
abbymath92: u and dv etc.
abbymath92: I need to sign off now
ahcool587: you have to do it twice i think
abbymath92: I still have a little homework of my own to do
xanthophile: bye ms. brown!
xzilious: k good night, thanks for the help

dingostarr10: ...for the most part
karmapolice343: thank you Mrs. Brown!
abbymath92: Good luck studying
BluebirdRock: bye!
ahcool587: thanks
laffer89: LOLOLOL
