Torrey Pines Advanced String Ensemble

The Class:
The Torrey Pines Advanced String Ensemble, led by Amy Willcox, is the top string ensemble at Torrey Pines High School. This ensemble studies repertoire at an advanced level. The Advanced Strings perform at school concerts and at competitions.

The ensemble provides the musicians with the opportunity to perform in a high-level small ensemble and to study challenging classical and contemporary works.

Enrollment into the orchestra is by audition only.

*Congratulations on your 99.5% Ave. Superior rating & best overall orchestra award in LA 4/20!
*Congrats! You were the only ensemble to recieve a U-Superior at the SCSBOA finals 5/16!
