Torrey Pines Advanced String Ensemble

The Class:
The Torrey Pines Advanced String Ensemble, led by Amy Willcox, is the top string ensemble at Torrey Pines High School. This ensemble studies repertoire at the collegiate level. The Advanced Strings perform at several concerts, school events and competitions throughout the year. The ensemble provides the musicians with the opportunity to perform in a high-level smaller ensemble setting while studying challenging classical and contemporary works. Enrollment into the advanced orchestra is by audition only.
