May 30, 2013All booster meetings are at 7:00 pm in room M1. All music parents and students are welcome to attend.
Donate to Music at TPHS!
Your donation will be used to cover expenses including transportation to competitions, instruments, equipment, festival fees, coaching, sheet music, and instrument repairs. Donations may be made at any time. All donations to the music program are tax deductible. Donations to the music program are made to the Torrey Pines High School Foundation. The Foundation will send a receipt for tax purposes for each donation.The suggested donation amount is $275 per music student. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. For the amount you would spend on 4 ½ private lessons you can ensure that TPHS will have an outstanding music program for your student!
To make a donation, please make your check payable to TPHSF (or Torrey Pines High School Foundation) and write “Music-Donation” on the memo line. Please put donation checks in the locked Music Booster box in Mrs. Willcox‘s office. You may also mail your donation to the foundation at Torrey Pines High School Foundation, PO Box 2489, Del Mar, CA 92014-1789. Please make sure you write “Music-Donation” in the memo line on your check! If you forget to put “Music” on the memo line, your donation will not go to the Music account.
To donate by credit card, go to www.torreypinesfoundation.org, click on Donate Now, and then select Music. If you choose to donate by credit card, we lose a small portion of your donation because we have to pay a fee for each credit card transaction.
eScrip
We would like all music families to sign up with eScrip to help us earn money when you shop at Vons and other stores. To sign up go to www.escrip.com and select Torrey Pines High School Music Boosters. Our group ID number is 140717071.
You must re-register every year by November 1. To re-register, go to www.escrip.com, sign in and then click "Renew Now"
To apply for matching funds from your company, please check with your company for the procedure. Please enter Torrey Pines High School Foundation, PO Box 2489, Del Mar, CA 92014-1789 as your recipient organization. Where the form asks you to designate how you want the donation directed, enter “Music.” Even if your company form does not allow you to designate how to direct the donation, it will still get to our account because the Foundation will verify that the amount of the company donation matches your original donation to Music so they will know where to direct it.
