The Torrey Pines Intermediate Orchestra, led by Amy Willcox, is the largest orchestra at Torrey Pines High School. This ensemble studies repertoire at an intermediate to advanced level and trains musicians in ensemble and chamber performance, orchestral literature, and proficiency of their own instrument.

The Intermediate Orchestra performs and competes during school concerts and at various festivals throughout the year.

Enrollment into the orchestra is determined by audition.
