Your student's nightly homework is to read the next 6 pages beyond the page we last reviewed in class. Also, he is to study for his Tuesday vocabulary test on Monday night. Tuesday night he is to study for his Wednesday map test. Wednesday night he is to study for his names and terms test on Thursday. He should keep careful notes on the text when I say, this is a good thing to know for the test. I give the answer to each chapter test question out loud in class usually word for word. If he makes a note in his book with sticky notes or writes it on paper to study at home, he will have a very good idea of what is on the next chapter test. There is in class work which, if he has an excused absence, he can make up within 2 weeks.
I hope this gives you an idea of how you might help him study for his tests Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Chapter tests are given when we finish a chapter, so there is no set day except that no tests are ever given on Monday.
