Class of 2012:  UC will no longer require SAT Subject tests for admission.   More information can be found here.  Other competitive universities will still require the SAT Subject tests, which can be verified at college admissions websites or in Naviance.

In order to facilitate your success in 10th grade, please be sure to follow these important guidelines:

1.  If you have not done so already, view this Naviance Registration Tutorial and then sign up for your Naviance account.  Use your LEGAL name, and 6-digit student ID for your password.  If you forgot your password, or user name, talk to Darlene Burton in the Career Center, who can reset your password or ID.  Everything that will prepare you for your career and/or college search will be conducted via Naviance. The program will streamline the entire process, from start to finish. MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS, because the Counseling Department will use it to send you important, time-sensitive messages specifically aimed at your grade level.

2.  Pay close attention to the 10th Grade Counseling Calendar.  If you follow it, you should not miss any important events.
