Welcome to the CCA Counseling page.  We are here to assist all CCA students.  Please use the Alphabetical Counseling Index,  FAQ section and specific grade level pages below to find answers to most common questions.

The Counseling Department delivers important grade-level specific information via Naviance, a comprehensive database that allows  students and parents to remain informed as they navigate the high school process.  Students register with their student ID number and parents register with the student ID plus P (e.g.123456P).  To register, please follow these Naviance Registration Instructions.  Be sure to provide a valid, current e-mail address to receive important information from the Counseling Department.

Aeries Portal  This program accesses student grades, assignments, teacher contacts, transcript and graduation status.  Use it regularly to monitor classroom performance and address any potential problems before progress reports and final grades.  Parents can update their own email addresses in the Aeries parent portal to continue to receive all notices and information from SDUHSD. 

2013-2014 Course Selection   May 27-31 is the advance window for students to make necessary course change requests for next year per the SDUHSD course selection guidelines.  Initial course requests are visible in the Aeries portal under Student Data: Scheduling.  If you need to request a change, please submit an add/drop request form during Counseling walk-in periods, before or after school or at lunch, during this window.  Counselors are not able to address 2013-2014 course change requests via email or phone.
