Below are some facts and figures about Canyon Crest Academy:

Canyon Crest is one of four comprehensive high schools in the San Dieguito Union High School District.

CCA is a "school of choice," which means that any student who resides within our district boundaries can apply to attend during the district's "high school selection process."  Unlike two of the four other schools, however, CCA has a "capped enrollment," and if the number of applicants exceeds the projected available seats, a lottery is held.  After the lottery, students are notified of the results.

CCA is on a "4 x 4" system. In the 4 x 4 system, students take 4 courses in the Fall, and 4 additional courses in the Spring.  Each course is the equivalent of a year-long course on a "traditional" two-semester, year-long system.

Our school day begins at 8:15, and ends at 3:15. Each class last 90 minutes.
