ASB Grades

Participation Log: Students can earn up to 5 points each day through participation in class.  At the beginning of each period they need to write what they plan to accomplish that day.  At the end of the period they need to fill out what they were actually able to accomplish and have it stamped by the V.P.  If a student is absent they need to fill out the date and write absent otherwise they will be marked down.  Each Month should be on its own sheet.  New sheets are available on my website.  Log Sheets are always due on the last ASB day of the month.

Committee Work:  Each student is assigned to a committee and is responsible to fulfill the duties required.  At least one committee member will be responsible for filling out the weekly clipboard report.  They will be graded weekly for their work.

Dance Committees: each student is also responsible for a dance preparation, dance day and dance clean up committee.   Dance sheets are due the class period after each dance.  Dance sheets are available on my website.  Completed Dance sheet are due the 1^st  ASB class period after the dance.

Major School Service Project:  Students will work with a group to complete a service learning project for our school.  They will need to write a proposal, a plan of action and adhere to a budget .  All will need to be approved by me.  They should keep a journal of all efforts and will present project to entire class when project is complete.  They will also write a group reflection of their experiences.  Packets including Approved Proposals, Approved Plan of Actions, Journals, and Reflections will all be turned in on the day presentations.

Event Form:  ASB students are required to go to at least 2 non-ASB sponsored events.  They will write a short summary about the event and get an adult signature.  A parent signature is acceptable if event supervisor is unavailable.  Please include any programs that may be available.

Community Service: ASB students will be required to do at least 10 hours of community service per semester.  This could include helping a teacher, the library, or custodians.  Outside of school services are acceptable as well.  This community service is to be done outside of ASB and homeroom time.

Spirit Wear: ASB students will be provided with an ASB spirit shirt.  This shirt is to be worn every Thursday all day.  I also expect ASB students to participate in ALL spirit dress up days.

ASB students are required to be at all ASB sponsored events unless otherwise approved by me.

Any late work will automatically loose 5 points.
