I am a proud member of the original Bobcat staff at Carmel Valley. When I first saw our classroom, it was a foundation and the wooden framing. The first year of school, there was no Gym, no Drama Room and the grassy quad was not open until late in the Spring! These teachers and support staff were all part of the fun of opening and shaping our Carmel Valley school culture! CVMS 10 year anniversary Original Bobcats!

I applied to be an astronaut the first time NASA called for science and
mathematics teachers to leave the classroom and join the space program full
time. I was cut for medical reasons, but I made it to the top 200 out of
18,000 applications. This suit is so heavy, you can't move in it on
Earth, but the microgravity environment of space makes these 250 lbs pants
no problem! |
