A picture’s worth a thousand words!
This course teaches the student how to communicate through photographs, and to develop work attitudes and behaviors necessary for a career as a professional photographer.
By analyzing your photos, you will develop critical thinking skills that allow you to see the deeper meaning of a simple snap-shot. Students will learn about equipment selection, proper equipment operation, and gain a better understand of the importance of aesthetics, impact, and composition. These goals will be accomplished in a work-like atmosphere similar to that found in the industry.
Note: This course fulfills the Practical Arts high school graduation requirement.
