Welcome to Carmel Valley Middle School

Library Media Center

Welcome to the Carmel Valley Middle School Library Media Center. We are the heart and hub of our campus. We are better known as the “BOBCAT FAMILY ROOM”! Our mission is to provide all students with learning resources and experiences necessary to acquire an excellent education and become effective users of ideas and information. We also encourage our students to read!

The Library Media Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:15 am to 3:30 pm.   We are available  before school, during lunch and after school for students and teachers. Classes sign up to come visit the Library and the Computer Lab to work on projects or check out books. Our Media Center is spacious, comfortable and decorated with student artwork. We have a collection of about 12,000 titles. Students have access to 15 networked computers in the Media Center and there  are two adjacent labs with 60 computers.

Students and staff can access our collection  by checking  our OPAC – Online Public Access Catalog.
