About the Homework …

I am dedicating an entire page to the single most important thing that will ensure Algebra success…completion of the daily homework. You must be prepared for class to be an active participant! Without individual daily practice, you cannot completely grasp one concept before moving onto the next. HW also provides daily cumulative review. This keeps concepts from the entire course fresh in your mind. You are part now of a team … student - parents - teacher. Together, we work toward a common goal: a successful Algebra experience.

Let me say again… Homework is SO important! It is individual practice over the concepts that we learned and practiced together during class. It is in your best interest to practice everyday.

With that said, the HW policy for Algebra is a team effort. By each doing our individual job, we will ensure the success of the “team.” Go Bobcats!

Mrs. Fritsch’s responsibilities:

·        ·        I will stamp HW for completion each day.

·        ·        I will give HW checks at the end of each chapter.

To earn the stamp, HW must have =>

Every problem must be attempted. (If the solution is unclear, the student must provide a written explanation of their understanding.)

All odd numbered problems must be checked in the back of the book & corrected in pen.

I will do my part, as written above, to ensure the success of the “ team.”
