“Terms” and Concepts for Unit Three

Emergent Nationhood and "The Era of Good Feelings"

DIRECTIONS:

As you read through the assigned readings, take notes on the following terms or concepts.  Your notes, which can be in the style of your choosing, should address:

§      Who?  (or) What?

§      When?

§      What examples illustrate this term/concept/person?

§      Why or How important?  What is the immediate and long-term significance?

“Terms” notes are part of your (nearly) daily homework assignments and must be turned in on the day specified in your agenda or in class.  You will have a (near) daily Bellwork Assignment that assesses your progress on your “Terms” Notes as part of your coursework grade.  You cannot complete Bell Work if you do not submit your notes.  You cannot complete Bell Work if you are tardy.  You must complete all notes in order to earn credit.

THESE ARE NOT THE ONLY TERMS WITH WHICH YOU MUST BE FAMILIAR.  Do not fail to consult the online Unit Guide, which can be found at the course website.
