About Mi Casa
This webpage contains valuable information regarding each of my classes. From the margin on the left you can access the course syllabus, check on current assignments as well as get an update of your current grade in my class. The grades are updated at least once a week. You can also click on 'Links' to get help in math. I will update it from time to time.
About Mr. Elias (AKA 'Mistah E')
I was born in El Salvador(a very small country in Central America) and moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of five. I lived in Los Angeles until 1997 and then moved to San Diego as a a result of a tour in the U.S. Navy. Last year I switched from serving in the U.S. Navy Reserves to the U.S. Army National Guard. I spent last summer training in South Dakota and Washington to become an officer. I graduated in August with honors as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
I have a Bachelor's in Mathematics and I am currently working on a Master's in Mathematics. However, I've been working on this program for the last 3 years but since the Army takes proirity it is taking me longer than normal. My first job as a teacher was at Hoover High School in San Diego Unified. At Canyon Crest I teach Honors Geometry and Algebra1.
