Grants
Money given, usually to those who have financial
need.
Grants come from a variety of sources: federal, state, colleges, and other organizations. Grants do not have to be repaid.
Pell Grant: available to lower income students.
SEOG Grant: available to exceptionally low income students. Applying for the FAFSA automatically determines qualification for both the Pell and SEOG.
CAL Grants: Students must attend a career or technical school, 2 or 4-year college or university in California, have financial need, and submit the FAFSA and GPA Verification forms before March 2. Check your CAL Grant status here.
